Tokyu will host “Shibuya to Mori,” a participatory art event at the Hikarie Deck of Shibuya Hikarie in Tokyo from October 31 to November 8, 2026. The event will transform a planted area into a “small forest” filled with artwork inspired by wildlife living in Shibuya.
The art exhibition will be open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 during the event period. A hands-on workshop will also take place on November 3, 7, and 8, with same-day registration available at the venue and no advance booking required.
The workshop costs ¥100, including tax. Participants can create an acrylic key holder featuring a Shibuya animal, place it on a small train running through the artwork, and exchange finished pieces with other participants. Workshop proceeds will be donated to environmental conservation activities through the artist.
About the Shibuya to Mori Art Event
A Small Train Runs Through the “Small Forest”
During the Shibuya to Mori event at Shibuya Hikarie, a small train carries wildlife artwork created by the artist and workshop participants through the planted exhibition area.

Create a Shibuya Wildlife Key Holder
The hands-on workshop lets participants draw a local animal on an acrylic key holder and add it to the small train display. Participation costs ¥100 (tax included), with proceeds donated to environmental conservation activities.

Artist Jin Hasegawa created the event around the idea of living alongside nature in the city. Panels will depict the streets of Shibuya and local wildlife such as mandarin ducks, Japanese pipistrelle bats, raccoon dogs, and people. The exhibition invites visitors to consider the connections between urban life, plants, animals, and the wider cycle of nature.
