Visitors can also try the ¥400 dorayaki filling challenge and Dream Soft at ¥611 for dine-in or ¥600 to take away.
About the Autumn Factory Festival
A popular three-day event
Tsuboya’s autumn factory festival has previously welcomed up to 15,000 people over three days, bringing confectionery production and seasonal food stalls together in Asahikawa.
Strawberry Eclair
The event-only Strawberry Eclair combines custard, strawberry whipped cream, and fresh strawberry. It is priced at ¥450 each, or included in the freely selected four-piece set for ¥1,500.
Double Mont Blanc
Double Mont Blanc uses two kinds of marron cream and two types of chestnut topping. Like the other event-only cakes, it costs ¥450 each.
Sweet Potato Chiffon Mont Blanc
This soft chiffon cake is topped with sweet potato bean paste and sweet potato puree. The in-house contest winner is available for ¥700.
A light red bean chiffon
The chiffon was developed to offer a lighter take on the image of red bean sweets, with a soft texture designed to appeal even to people who are not usually fond of sweet potatoes.
ANCO+ red bean sweets
Tsuboya’s ANCO+ range highlights house-made red bean paste prepared from carefully selected azuki beans. The beans are slowly cooked in a direct-fired kettle to preserve their flavor and texture.
Dream Soft
Guests can enjoy adding their favorite toppings to soft-serve ice cream. Dream Soft costs ¥611 for dine-in or ¥600 for takeaway.
Garden stone-oven pizza
The garden food stalls serve pizza baked in a handmade stone oven, along with taiyaki, yakisoba, and topped fries for a casual autumn meal.
The festival brings Tsuboya’s normally behind-the-scenes confectionery work into a relaxed garden setting. Alongside the sweets, guests can enjoy freshly grilled and fried foods, including taiyaki filled with house-made red bean paste, stone-oven pizza, yakisoba, and fries topped with red bean paste or sour cream.
