The reservation window runs from October 1 to December 10, or until all 30 cakes are reserved. Cakes can be collected at the S.Weil by HOTEL NEW GRAND main shop from December 19 through December 25, making the release a seasonal stop near Yamashita Park.
The main shop also sells Stollen from December 1, limited to 100 pieces and priced at ¥4,000 (tax included). Advent calendars and Christmas boots are available at both the main shop and the Yokohama Takashimaya store, while an online-only set is offered through the hotel’s official online shop.

Christmas boot
The ¥2,860 (tax included) Christmas boot contains gold coin milk chocolates and almond crunch chocolates, making it a gift-friendly seasonal item.
The Bûche de Noël follows the recipe sold at the historic French pastry shop S.Weil by bakery chef Chokichi Otani, who worked under Hotel New Grand’s first executive chef, Sali Weil. Its moist sponge is rolled with buttercream and finished with mocha cream blended with S.Weil’s original coffee, creating a log-style cake with a rich coffee aroma.
