Sakewo has launched a new Hokkaido Gummy Shine Muscat Soft-Serve Flavor in Shibetsu, Hokkaido, available from September 26, 2026. The gummy is made with Shine Muscat grapes grown by local construction company Uedagumi.
The 40-gram product is designed as a portable Hokkaido souvenir that can be carried at room temperature. It is available at souvenir shops, roadside stations, airport stores and antenna shops across Hokkaido and elsewhere in Japan, as well as through online stores.
The gummy costs ¥378 (tax included). It uses freeze-dried Shine Muscat from Shibetsu Town, processed into powder for a soft-serve-inspired flavor. The product was developed through a Shibetsu government crowdfunding project that received ¥682,000 from 28 donors.
About Hokkaido Gummy
Sakewo created the series to share local Hokkaido ingredients and travel memories in a compact form. Each gummy is shaped like Hokkaido, while the packaging also uses animal motifs associated with the region. The new flavor connects the series with a local grape-growing project that began in 2017.
