Aunt Stella’s Cookie shops across Japan are introducing a premium line called the “Gourmet Cookies” starting September 5, 2026, offering a special selection of soft cookies with carefully chosen ingredients at ¥800 per 100g (tax included).
The pricing reflects a step up from their regular cookie offerings, which are typically sold at ¥680 per 100g (tax included). This premium line will be available at 71 directly managed stores nationwide, excluding a few locations, through October 31, 2026.
The first release in this series includes three soft cookie varieties: Gateau Chocolate Cookie featuring French sea salt, Fermented Butter Cheesecake Cookie made with 6.8% fermented butter and 14.3% cheese, and Chestnut Cookie with 34% candied chestnuts and French chestnut paste.

This new line elevates the classic Aunt Stella cookie experience by offering thicker, soft cookies with premium ingredients and a dedicated gold-colored bag to enhance the overall enjoyment. The Gateau Chocolate Cookie balances rich chocolate chips with a subtle salt crunch from French sea salt. The Fermented Butter Cheesecake Cookie replicates the texture and flavor of cheesecake with the addition of pearl sugar for crispness. The Chestnut Cookie celebrates autumn flavors with a rich chestnut paste and candied chestnuts.
