Itadaki Cocco-chan is introducing kamameshi to its menu for the first time with the Autumn Harvest Fair. The seasonal campaign brings rice cooked in a small pot, grilled skewers, salad, and ajillo dishes to the chain’s restaurants in Hokkaido, Miyagi, and the Kanto region.
The fair runs from October 1 through November 30, 2026, at 14 restaurants: six in Sapporo, five in Sendai, and three in the Kanto area. The campaign may finish earlier or have its end date changed depending on stock.
The new Chicken and Hiratake Mushroom Autumn Kamameshi costs ¥968 (tax included). Other named dishes include Chicken Thigh Skewer with Potato, Butter and Soy Sauce at ¥308, Maitake Mushroom Meat-Wrapped Skewer at ¥418, Pumpkin and Avocado Salad with Mimolette at ¥528, and Shrimp and Mushroom Ajillo at ¥968.
About the Autumn Harvest Fair
The kamameshi is prepared with chicken and hiratake mushrooms, white wine, butter, and cheese, giving the dish a Western-style flavor. Diners can enjoy the anticipation of waiting for the rice to finish cooking, while the other dishes broaden the meal with grilled ingredients, vegetables, and a hot seafood and mushroom plate.
