Located on the 14th floor at Sophie at EDITION, this afternoon tea blends Valextra’s Milanese elegance with Italian culinary influences. It’s an ideal choice for travelers exploring sophisticated dining options in central Ginza.
About the Valextra Afternoon Tea
This special collaboration brings together Valextra’s refined aesthetic and exquisite craftsmanship with the Italian flavors curated by Sophie at EDITION. The savory selections feature Italian classics with a modern twist, such as Vitello Tonnato with tender veal loin and creamy tuna sauce, Bluefin tuna and wasabi bruschetta, tomato confit with KAWABA stracciatella tartlets, and saffron risotto arancini with Wagyu Bolognese.
The sweet offerings include a white chocolate mousse inspired by Valextra’s iconic Iside Tin bag, espresso tiramisu adorned with the Valextra logo, traditional Sicilian cannoli with ricotta and pistachios, a pound cake inspired by Milan’s San Babila district, strawberry shortcake with Hokkaido cream, and a Milanese torta sbrisolona featuring cornmeal and almonds. Scones are served with clotted cream and homemade fig jam, with an option to add truffle or Parmigiano scones for an extra ¥1,000.
Guests ordering the afternoon tea will receive an original Valextra postcard. Presenting this postcard at select Valextra stores will allow guests to claim a special leather charm until the end of December 2026.
