Takaki Bakery is bringing back its top-ranked stone oven bagel featuring figs and walnuts across Japan this summer. This popular item was voted number one by customers in a recent poll and will be available again for a limited period.
The fig and walnut bagel is priced at ¥235 (tax included) and will be sold nationwide in supermarkets from August 1 to September 30, 2026.
About Takaki Bakery’s Stone Oven Bagel Revival
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Stone Oven Series, Takaki Bakery held a customer poll in early 2026 to select which past stone oven bread should be revived. Out of about 7,800 votes, the “Stone Oven Fig & Walnut Bagel” received the most support with 1,713 votes. Responding to customer demand, the bakery will reintroduce this chewy, flavorful bagel made with Turkish figs and Californian walnuts.
