TOUFU TOKYO’s Limited-Edition RE BONSAI Pop-Up at Isetan Shinjuku

TOUFU TOKYO is presenting a limited collection of its signature upcycled bonsai art, RE BONSAI, at a pop-up in Isetan Shinjuku. This event runs for one week starting August 5, 2026.

Located on the 5th floor of Isetan Shinjuku’s main building in the Center Park / The Stage #5 area, this pop-up offers around 50 unique bonsai pieces crafted from trees aged 10 to 250 years. Prices range from ¥30,000 to over ¥2 million, catering to both new fans and collectors.

TOUFU TOKYO specializes in upcycling bonsai art by breathing new life into retired bonsai trees. Their RE BONSAI pieces blend traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern artistry, using natural wood, branches, leaves, and moss. These bonsai do not require watering or maintenance, making them perfect indoor art pieces.

The pop-up features a new collection highlighting traditional Japanese indigo dyeing, adding vibrant color to the bonsai art. Alongside the display and sales, visitors can join workshops to create their own RE BONSAI or paint Daruma dolls.
