Sushiro started as a single sushi restaurant called “Tai Sushi” in Abeno Ward, Osaka City, in 1984. Since then, the company has upheld the philosophy “Delicious sushi to fill your stomach. Delicious sushi to fill your heart,” and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

The featured product of “Once-a-Year Super Gratitude! 2024 Sushiro Day” is the “Double Chu-Toro,” a special Chu-Toro at twice the size, usually priced at 180 yen (including tax). This “Double Chu-Toro” will be available for only 100 yen (including tax) at all Sushiro locations nationwide for five days only, from Wednesday, May 29th to Sunday, June 2nd.

Considering that the usual 180 yen portion is doubled and offered at 100 yen, it feels like you’re getting approximately 360 yen worth for 100 yen, roughly one-third the usual price (excluding the rice).

In addition to “Double Chu-Toro,” Sushiro will offer various seasonal and limited-time menu items during this period.

One standout is the “Takumi’s Seafood Rolled Sushi,” carefully rolled with 13 different ingredients. It will be available from Wednesday, May 29th, 2024. Featuring tuna, salmon, eel, and newly added sardine and avocado, it boasts a rich flavor profile. The grilled natural Kinki fish is also highly anticipated, available from Wednesday, May 29th to Sunday, June 16th, 2024.

Other limited-time items include the hearty “Mountain of Salad Gunkan,” the flavorful “Grilled Natural Kinki,” and the classic Edo-style sushi “Boiled Hamaguri Clam Nigiri.” These items are prepared to maximize the flavor of each ingredient, allowing you to enjoy the unique deliciousness that Sushiro offers.
