About the Summer Afternoon Tea at Park Hyatt Kyoto

The Living Room, located on the first floor of Park Hyatt Kyoto, presents two distinct afternoon tea courses reflecting the transition of the summer sky. SUNLIT captures the freshness of the morning and early afternoon, while AFTERGLOW evokes the warm hues of sunset and twilight. Each menu is thoughtfully crafted to offer a harmonious progression of flavors and textures, paired with Japanese teas, herbal infusions, fermented teas, and select domestic whiskies.

Highlights

• SUNLIT is served from 12:00 to 17:00, featuring dishes like fruit tomato compote, caviar and cucumber sandwiches, and a bluefish tart, all inspired by the gentle light of summer mornings.
• AFTERGLOW is available from 17:00 to 19:00 and includes items such as Kamo eggplant croquettes, melon shaved ice with champagne granita, and seasonal fruit desserts, reflecting the rich colors of sunset and evening.
• Both menus include carefully selected Japanese teas and whiskies to enhance the tasting experience, with non-alcoholic options available upon request.
• The price for each afternoon tea is ¥6,600 (tax included), with an additional 15% service charge.
