About Wa no Stollen
Wa no Stollen
Kimuraya Sohonten’s Wa no Stollen combines Japanese ingredients with a traditional stollen format. The regular size costs ¥2,800 (tax included), while the store-only small size costs ¥1,500 (tax included).

Product sizes
The regular Wa no Stollen measures approximately 160 mm by 70 mm by 50 mm. The smaller version measures approximately 120 mm by 60 mm by 50 mm.

Kimuraya Sohonten gives the German Christmas pastry a Japanese profile by combining a pistachio-and-fruit stollen dough with red bean paste, black soybeans, chestnuts, and kinako. Persimmon and figs are soaked in rum to create a softer texture and deeper aroma, while the flavor is designed to develop as the stollen rests.
