The shaved ice uses natural ice from Yatsuyoshi, a traditional ice maker located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi. Their ice is formed slowly under natural freezing conditions at 1,300 meters altitude near Mount Yatsugatake, resulting in clear, pure ice with a snow-like fluffy texture when shaved. This ice is carefully hand-cut by skilled artisans to ensure the highest quality.
