Shonan Kamakura Ofunaken has launched a new Kinmedai and Kodai Oshizushi boxed sushi, available at shops including Ekibenya Matsuri inside Tokyo Station from October 1, 2026.
The new product combines rich, elegant Kinmedai sea bream with the delicate, refreshing flavor of Kodai sea bream. It is sold for ¥1,300 (tax included), with no end date announced.
The oshizushi will be available at selected Ofunaken stores and station shops in Tokyo, Shinjuku, Ueno, Omiya, Ofuna, and Fujisawa. Tokyo Station shoppers can look for it at Ekibenya Matsuri Gransta Tokyo, a shop known for offering around 150 types of station bento every day.
About Ofunaken Oshizushi
Ofunaken’s sushi follows a traditional method passed down for more than 100 years: the rice is shaped in the Kanto style and pressed in the Kansai style. Unlike battera that is cut with a knife, the pieces are prepared in easy-to-eat portions while keeping each grain of rice intact.
