Daichi no Megumi, a farm-to-table cafe in Nagara, Chiba, has opened limited summer reservations for its unique experiences, including harvesting pesticide-free vegetables and enjoying BBQ on a covered terrace. The cafe also offers a rare limited-edition pudding made from free-range Nagoya Cochin eggs.

Located about 70 minutes by car from central Tokyo and Chiba city, this farm cafe features a vast organic garden and a starry night camping site with no streetlights. The summer season is ideal for combining fresh vegetable picking with a relaxed outdoor meal or an overnight stay under the stars.

Celebrating its 6th anniversary, Daichi no Megumi offers a hands-on experience where guests can harvest fresh, pesticide-free vegetables from its own expansive farm. The cafe’s signature dishes highlight these freshly picked vegetables, such as their hearty farm vegetable curry topped with seasonal produce. The menu emphasizes natural flavors without additives, featuring homemade bacon, dressings, fermented sauces, and sweets made with wild herbs.
