This unique dessert, famous on Korean social media for its intriguing “crunchy and mochi” texture, is now available in two flavors: chocolate and matcha, starting July 2, 2026.

Visitors to Japan seeking new and exciting dessert experiences will appreciate this fusion of Middle Eastern sweets, Korean cafe culture, and traditional Japanese wagashi. The Dubai Choco Mochi is reconstructed using “gyuhi,” a Japanese soft mochi made from rice, sugar, and water without gelatin, giving it a light and delicate mouthfeel. The dessert’s signature crunch comes from fried kadaif, a shredded pastry, skillfully prepared by Age.3’s frying experts to achieve a crispy texture.

Originally from Fukuoka’s Kama city, Age.3 started as a sweets brand called FRUITS SAND THREE before expanding with a new fried sandwich concept in Ginza, Tokyo.
