This summer, Toyama Excel Hotel Tokyu is offering a limited-time afternoon tea that celebrates the refreshing flavors of Shine Muscat grapes and the rare Kuromoji from Toga Village. The event will be held at “Ricomonte,” the hotel’s 15th-floor restaurant, from July 1 to September 30, 2026.
About the Event
Visitors to Japan can enjoy this unique culinary experience while taking in the stunning views of the Tateyama Mountain Range from the sky restaurant. The afternoon tea features a selection of sweets and savories, all beautifully arranged on a three-tier stand. Highlights include the “Frozen Shine Muscat” and “Shine Muscat Brûlée,” prepared right before your eyes.

The afternoon tea menu combines the elegant sweetness of Shine Muscat with the fragrant aroma of Kuromoji, a native aromatic wood from Japan, known for its refreshing scent and delicate sweetness. The Kuromoji used in this menu is sourced from Toga Village in Toyama Prefecture, adding a local touch to the experience.

In collaboration with “Monsieur J,” a popular French confectionery shop in Toyama, the afternoon tea also includes ice cream and macarons. Guests can elevate their afternoon with this sophisticated offering designed for adults seeking a refined dining experience.
