Japan Debut: MARVEL and STAR WARS Pop-Up Stores at JR Kyoto Isetan

For the first time in Japan, JR Kyoto Isetan is hosting the MARVEL POP UP STORE and STAR WARS POP UP STORE, featuring new merchandise inspired by the latest films. The event runs from August 12 to August 24, 2026.

The pop-up stores showcase a wide variety of apparel and goods, including summer-themed items like ice cream-inspired T-shirts and accessories. With around 2,000 products available, fans can enjoy an immersive shopping experience accompanied by themed music celebrating both universes.

JR Kyoto Isetan is bringing back the popular MARVEL and STAR WARS pop-up events, offering fans a chance to explore exclusive items based on the latest movies: “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” and “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.” The stores feature a broad selection of merchandise such as T-shirts, pouches, keychains, and collectible figurines, including limited-edition pieces.

Highlights

• New MARVEL items include the Spider-Man Ice Cream T-shirt priced at ¥4,400 and matching vinyl pouches and acrylic keychains at ¥1,100 each.
• The MARVEL Hero Set T-shirt is available for ¥11,000, along with the Spider-Man: Brand New Day random T-shirts (eight designs) at ¥3,300 each.
• STAR WARS summer-themed goods feature C-3PO & R2-D2 Ice Cream T-shirts at ¥4,400 and coordinating pouches and keychains at ¥1,100 each.
• Other STAR WARS items include photo-style stickers of The Mandalorian and Grogu for ¥550, cube pouches (10 types) at ¥2,860 each, and The Mandalorian T-shirt for ¥9,900.
• A limited-edition Royal Selangor Mandalorian figurine, restricted to 1,500 pieces worldwide, is available for ¥88,000 (made to order).
