About Daikoku Osechi

Shozan Daikoku Kamifukuoka
The Kamifukuoka restaurant offers a dining setting with views of its garden, adding a calm atmosphere to Daikoku’s Japanese cuisine experience.

Daikoku Pudding
Daikoku’s pudding is made with free-range eggs. It can be enjoyed with one of three sauces: eel-sauce caramel, homemade mirin, or handmade black caramel.
Live-Sourced Japanese Eel
Daikoku sources domestic Japanese eel alive and prepares each fish after the order is placed, with the bones carefully removed before cooking.
Freshly Prepared Unaju Mats
The Unaju Mats showcases freshly prepared domestic eel grilled over Binchotan charcoal for a fragrant exterior and tender texture.
Each osechi set is prepared by Daikoku chefs one dish at a time and delivered chilled rather than frozen. This means there is no defrosting step after collection or delivery. The kitchen also limits the use of preservatives and prepares seasonings and other ingredients with a focus on preserving the natural flavor, texture and aroma of each ingredient.
