Only a limited run of FamilyMart Gutto Mikan Ice Bar will be available across Japan, excluding Okinawa, from September 15, 2026. The frozen treat uses 67% Wakayama mandarin juice and is part of FamilyMart’s Famimaru Fruit Bar range, which sold 3.9 million bars in 2025.
The ice bar is designed to capture the concentrated sweetness and refreshing acidity of Wakayama mandarins. It will be sold at approximately 16,100 FamilyMart stores nationwide, while supplies last. From the same day, a regional Wakayama Fair will bring three additional products to around 2,650 stores in the Kansai region and selected stores in Mie.
Gutto Mikan Ice Bar costs ¥230 before tax, or ¥248 including tax. The regional lineup includes a large ume and bonito rice ball for ¥245 including tax, a matcha whipped-cream doughnut for ¥160, and Wakayama Chinese noodles for ¥578. The ice bar and all three fair products go on sale in stores on September 15.

Carefully cultivated Wakayama mandarins provide 67% of the juice in the two-layer Gutto Mikan Ice Bar. The product is ¥230 before tax, or ¥248 including tax, and is available in a limited run.
The bar has two layers: a rich mandarin juice layer and a soft, melting gelato layer. FamilyMart says the fruit juice includes flavorful Wakayama mandarins, including fruit that may not meet fresh-produce appearance standards despite retaining excellent taste.
