ufu., a sweets media brand operated by Fusansha Co., is launching its new sweets bar “Toranokodou” at Gransta Tokyo inside JR Tokyo Station on September 16, 2026. This is the brand’s first store in the Tokyo area.
Located within the underground Marunouchi ticket gate area, Toranokodou offers a unique butter-themed menu that blends Japanese and Western sweets, setting it apart from typical hotel dining options in Tokyo Station.
Products include butter cookies, sweets bars, and limited-quantity “Toramocchi” sweets made with original mochi dough. Items are sold in-store at Gransta Tokyo.
About Toranokodou
The brand’s icon is “Toranoko,” a tiger character created by Chiharu Sakazaki, the illustrator known for JR East’s Suica Penguin. “Toranoko” means “precious treasure,” reflecting the brand’s wish for these sweets to become special gifts or personal treats. The menu features butter-rich sweets such as dome-shaped caramel butter cookies, and unique “Toramocchi” sweets combining mochi and rich fillings.
