Maizen Launches Seasonal Azumino Stem Wasabi Pork Roll and Autumn Mixed Fry Bento in Japan

Maizen has introduced a new seasonal menu featuring the Azumino Stem Wasabi Pork Roll and the Autumn Mixed Fry Bento in Japan, available from August 26, 2026.

The Azumino Stem Wasabi Pork Roll highlights the refreshing flavor of stem wasabi from Nagano’s Azumino region, a detail that will appeal to those seeking a unique taste experience this season.

Both items are sold at Maizen’s nationwide directly managed stores, except for Ecute Akihabara and locations without fried food offerings. The Azumino Stem Wasabi Pork Roll is priced at ¥405 (tax included), while the Autumn Mixed Fry Bento, which includes the wasabi roll along with Maizen’s popular bite-sized pork fillet cutlet and fried shrimp, is available for ¥1,242 (tax included).

The Azumino Stem Wasabi Pork Roll combines pork wrapped around a mixture of stem wasabi and shiso leaf, seasoned with a salt-based sauce blended with sesame oil and garlic.
