Chubu Nippon Expressway Company is hosting the “Summer Gourmet Gyoza Festival” at E1A Shin-Tomei NEOPASA Shimizu in Shizuoka City from August 8 to 16, 2026. This event brings together 14 famous gyoza shops from all over Japan, including seven new vendors making their debut at this location.
Running for nine days, the festival offers visitors a chance to savor regional specialties like Hamamatsu gyoza from Shizuoka Prefecture and Utsunomiya gyoza from Tochigi Prefecture. The event also features summer street food such as shaved ice and yakisoba, plus nostalgic games like shooting galleries and toy scooping for families to enjoy.
About the Summer Gourmet Gyoza Festival
The festival at NEOPASA Shimizu is the second edition following last year’s successful event. It showcases a wide variety of gyoza styles from northern Fukushima to southern Okinawa, highlighting local ingredients and unique flavors. Attendees can also purchase frozen gyoza to take home from the shopping corner.
