Eitaro Souhonpo will launch its new Dongfang Meiren Tea Jelly in Tokyo from November 1, 2026. The dessert was developed jointly with Taiwan’s major department store group Shin Kong Mitsukoshi.
The tea jelly will be available at Eitaro Souhonpo’s Nihombashi Main Store and through other sales channels. The official online store will begin taking orders from November 2, while in-store sales start on November 1.
Dongfang Meiren Tea Jelly is priced at ¥648 (tax included). It uses tea leaves selected from Formosa Tea founder Chia-Chi Chang, a Taiwanese tea maker who was the only person from Taiwan named to The World’s 20 Best Tea Brands.
