The mini guide takes a more fact-based approach. It compares creatures such as Titanoboa and the African elephant, Mosasaurus and Livyatan melvillei, and Tyrannosaurus and Therizinosaurus. Legendary dragons including Fire Drake and Yinglong also appear, alongside explanations of their features and abilities.

Children can scan the code in the mini guide with a smartphone to play Dream Match. The game has three stages, with opponents selected at random for different matchups. Players can unlock special moves during battles and use them by tapping the Happy Set box shown on screen.
