Inspired by Morioka’s famous “jajamen,” the Meat Miso Janmen is a hotel-style adaptation crafted by Executive Chef Takahiro Ohta, who took the helm at New Otani Kyushu in June 2026. The dish features rich meat miso mixed with noodles and topped with a soft onsen egg. After enjoying the noodles, diners add the included mini rice to the leftover meat miso, creating a second delicious dish in one serving. This pop-up offers a casual yet authentic hotel dining experience during weekday lunches.
