McCafé by McDonald’s Japan Revamps Frappe and Smoothie with Hokkaido Cream and Alfonso Mango

McCafé by McDonald’s in Japan is offering a refreshed lineup of its popular frappe and smoothie drinks, featuring richer flavors thanks to the addition of Hokkaido cream and increased Alfonso mango puree. The new Cookie & Cream Chocolate Frappe and Mango Smoothie will be available at McDonald’s locations nationwide starting August 5, 2026.

These revamped beverages cater to customers seeking a quick and tasty café-style treat without the need for advance reservations. The drinks can be enjoyed in-store, for takeout, or via delivery, and are also available as part of value sets with an additional ¥200 (tax included).

About McCafé by McDonald’s Japan

Since launching McCafé frappes and smoothies nationwide in July 2023, McDonald’s Japan has expanded availability to over 2,500 of its approximately 3,000 stores. This first-ever renewal enhances the signature chocolate and mango flavors. The Cookie & Cream Chocolate Frappe now includes Hokkaido cream blended into the drink for a richer, smoother chocolate taste, while the Mango Smoothie features more Alfonso mango puree for a thicker, fruitier flavor and a creamier texture.
