About Ujitawara Seicha and the New Product
Founded nearly 100 years ago in Ujitawara, Kyoto, Ujitawara Seicha is a tea manufacturer known for its high-quality Uji tea products and innovative approach to tea culture. The newly launched ‘Bon’ green tea combines their home-grown Ujihikari matcha with premium wasanbon sugar, a traditional Japanese refined sugar. This combination creates a light and elegant sweetness that complements the rich aroma of matcha.
‘Bon’ is designed to be easy to enjoy: just add water, hot or cold, or milk for a creamy variation. It can be served iced in summer or hot in winter, and can also be used as syrup for shaved ice or lattes when mixed more concentratedly.
