About nana’s green tea Sunset Alley Store
Founded in Jiyugaoka in 2001, nana’s green tea is a global cafe brand centered on matcha and Japanese tea culture, with over 80 locations worldwide. The Sunset Alley store marks the brand’s second location in its birthplace, offering a distinct menu focused on meals rather than just drinks and sweets. It features Japan’s first rice noodles made from 100% Japanese rice flour, developed in collaboration with Tokyo’s long-established noodle maker Hashizume Seimen, founded in 1949. The noodles are gluten-free with a smooth texture that pairs perfectly with a carefully crafted broth made daily from kombu, bonito, shiitake mushrooms, and chicken bones.

Alongside the rice noodles, the cafe introduces mochi bubble tea—a Japanese take on the popular tapioca drink—with chewy mochi pearls made from Japanese ingredients. Customers can enjoy these as toppings on various drinks. The rice plates serve traditional donburi ingredients in a new plate style with fresh vegetables and complementary dressings, highlighting premium selections like natural mochimaguro tuna from Nachikatsuura, Wakayama Prefecture.
