The Summer Energy Festival runs from July 9 to August 23, 2026, at 242 Chimney Group restaurants nationwide, including popular seafood izakayas like Hanano Mai and Sakanaya Dojo. The festival showcases a variety of summer-themed dishes such as the new “Gyonikatsu-kun,” a fried fish sausage on a stick for just ¥77 (tax included ¥84), which is the event’s standout bargain item. This snack is coated with a spicy curry mayonnaise sauce, bringing a festive mood to your meal.

Other featured dishes include the classic summer favorites: tender and juicy eel skewers and eel liver skewers, each priced at ¥399 (tax included ¥438). For those wanting to enjoy both flavors together, the eel double skewer is available for ¥699 (tax included ¥768). Also on the menu is the seasonal “Unatama-maki,” a bite-sized eel and egg roll for ¥499 (tax included ¥548), perfect as a snack or a finishing dish with drinks.

For meat lovers, the festival offers a premium beef fillet bite-sized steak made from rare tenderloin side straps. Available in 180g portions for ¥1,699 (tax included ¥1,868) or 90g for ¥999 (tax included ¥1,098), the steak is served with a roasted garlic sauce and chili potatoes to enhance its rich flavor.
