This hearty dish features thick slices of juicy pork shabu served with a rich sesame sauce and a refreshing yurin (oil and vinegar) sauce, creating a perfect balance of flavors.

Tonari is known for its vegetable-rich tanmen, and this new menu item continues that tradition with a generous serving of tender pork shabu atop chilled noodles, ideal for those wanting a cool yet filling meal in Tokyo.
About Tonari

Tonari is a tanmen specialty restaurant operated by Matsufuji Foods Co., Ltd., with six locations mainly around Tokyo and Chiba. Established originally next to the now-closed Rokurinsha Osaki main store, Tonari moved its flagship store to Koto-ku, Tokyo in 2009. Tonari’s tanmen includes 360 grams of vegetables per bowl, exceeding the Ministry of Health’s recommended daily intake. The noodles are thick flat noodles paired with a flavorful salt pork bone broth, and popular set menus include “Tangyo” (tanmen and gyoza) and “Tankara” (tanmen and fried chicken).
