Hakata Hankyu Exclusive Essen Potato
Calbee Plus Hakata Hankyu offers exclusive Mentaiko and Kyushu Soy Sauce Essen Potato flavors. Essen Potato costs ¥730 (tax included), or ¥731 at the Hakata Hankyu and JR Kyoto Isetan stores.
Calbee Plus is Calbee’s customer-facing specialty shop, offering snacks that highlight the flavor and texture of potatoes and other familiar Japanese ingredients. The new Kitaakari product uses a thick, flat stick cut designed to combine a light crunch with the naturally gentle sweetness of Hokkaido Kitaakari potatoes. Essen Potato has also been refreshed with a new grilled flying fish and rich dashi flavor.
