It went on sale at bookstores and online bookstores nationwide on October 15, 2026. The calendar is priced at ¥1,870 (tax included), and production is limited, so orders may not be fulfilled once the planned quantity is reached.

The calendar is based on the picture book STAR WARS: The Mandalorian and Grogu by illustrator Jeffrey Brown, translated by Akiko Tominaga. The book presents Grogu as an energetic child whose behavior keeps the brave but worried Mandalorian busy, turning familiar parenting moments into gentle comedy.
The picture book series has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide, and this latest title passed 100,000 copies after repeated reprints. The calendar carries that same playful view of everyday galactic childcare in a format that can be displayed throughout 2027.
Because the product is being made in a fixed quantity, the publisher warns that some deliveries may be delayed because of the large number of advance reservations. The company also says it may not be able to accept every order after the planned production volume is reached.
