About the Collaboration
Sushiro Cafe, known for its innovative and delightful dessert offerings, has once again partnered with Morihan, a historic tea shop from Kyoto, to create a series of matcha desserts. Morihan has been a staple in Kyoto since 1836 and is celebrated for its high-quality tea products. This collaboration introduces desserts made with carefully selected tea leaves, showcasing the rich and vibrant flavors of Uji matcha.
The menu features the “Drinking Matcha Frappe,” a new addition to the frappe series, known for its bright color and aromatic Uji matcha. Other highlights include the “Matcha Warabi Mochi Parfait,” a Japanese-style parfait with matcha ice cream and Hokkaido azuki beans, and the “Matcha Catalana,” which combines two types of Uji matcha for a balanced taste. The “Matcha Mont Blanc” is another standout, offering a vivid matcha hue.
