Tokyo-based Navy Blue Inc. has officially launched the xBloom Studio, a fully automatic coffee maker that recreates professional-quality coffee at home, starting July 16, 2026. To celebrate the launch, customers receive free xPods, the machine’s exclusive coffee capsules.
The xBloom Studio represents the latest “fourth wave” in coffee culture, blending advanced technology with expert barista techniques. This collaboration with roasters from across Japan ensures users can enjoy specialty coffee recipes from regions like Kyushu, Osaka, Kyoto, and Miyagi without leaving home.
About xBloom Studio

Developed by a design team with experience at Apple, the xBloom Studio combines a grinder, electronic kettle, and scale into one sleek unit. Its precise controls include 80 grind settings, temperature adjustments from 40 to 95°C in 1-degree increments, and exact water volume measurements. Users can easily replicate roasters’ recipes via an app or recipe cards, simply by pressing a button.

The companion app connects via Bluetooth, allowing control over grind size, temperature, and recipe management from a smartphone. The machine supports both the exclusive xPods capsules and users’ own coffee beans.
