For the first time in Japan, New-Quick is launching the Baby Star Croquette Bar in Tokyo. This new stick-style croquette features the crunchy texture and savory flavor of the popular Baby Star ramen snack.
The Baby Star Croquette Bar will be available at New-Quick’s deli counters starting August 1, 2026, with a limited early release on July 18 and 19 at select stores. It offers a quick and tasty snack option without the need for advance reservations.
About the Baby Star Croquette Bar Collaboration
New-Quick, a meat specialty retailer with 82 stores nationwide, has partnered with Oyatsu Company, the maker of Baby Star ramen snacks, to create this popular croquette series for the third consecutive year. This time, the croquette has been redesigned from a round shape into a convenient stick form to enhance the crispy texture and aroma of the Baby Star ramen coating.
The croquette combines New-Quick’s classic “Danshaku Potato Croquette” filling with a crispy coating made from Baby Star ramen. The stick shape increases the proportion of the crunchy coating, delivering a satisfying bite every time. The soft, fluffy potato inside balances the savory crunch outside, creating a simple yet delicious flavor. It can be enjoyed as is or with your favorite sauce for a taste reminiscent of okonomiyaki.
