For the first time in Japan, Yokohama Mores BBQ Beer Garden is hosting a special event that combines a beer garden with traditional Bon dance and live DJ performances in Yokohama. The event, “Yokohama Mores Bon Dance 2026,” will take place on August 21, 2026, on the rooftop of the Mores building near Yokohama Station.
This unique summer festival features a rooftop terrace decorated with a yagura tower for Bon dance, alongside performances by popular DJs including DJ Celly, who gained fame with his viral Bon Jovi-themed Bon dance video. About Yokohama Mores BBQ Beer Garden and Bon Dance Event
Located on the rooftop of Yokohama Mores, the Mores BBQ Beer Garden is an urban-style beer garden with a “BEACH & CITY POP” concept, offering a comfortable BBQ resort experience in the city. On August 21, 2026, the rooftop will transform into a Bon dance venue with a special two-session event featuring DJ Celly, DJ YAHAGI, traditional Japanese drum performances by Tokyo Otome Taiko, and dancers from the Japan Bon Dance Association. Guests can enjoy a modern Matsuri (festival) atmosphere while dancing to a mix of traditional and contemporary music.
