Starbucks Coffee Japan is launching four new Baguette Sandwiches at Starbucks stores across Japan from September 30, 2026. The new sandwich category replaces the long-running Stone Oven Filone range with bread designed to make the texture and flavor of the baguette the main attraction.
The lineup uses dough with a water content of approximately 85 percent, giving the bread a crisp, fragrant exterior and a moist, chewy center. The sandwiches will be available nationwide, except at some locations, and may sell out temporarily or end earlier than expected.
The four choices are Herb Sausage at ¥648 for takeaway or ¥660 in stores, Ham and Gouda Cheese at ¥530 or ¥540, Three Mushroom and Roast Chicken at ¥628 or ¥640, and Two Chocolates and Butter at ¥510 or ¥520. They can be enjoyed with a Starbucks beverage for breakfast, lunch, or a short coffee break.
About the Starbucks Baguette Sandwiches
Starbucks developed the bread by reworking the dough formula rather than focusing only on the fillings. The high-hydration dough helps retain moisture after baking, creating a soft, springy bite and a gentle wheat sweetness. Each sandwich is also cut in half so the bread and filling can be enjoyed together from the first bite.
