Kamakura Goro has launched a new seasonal sweet set called the “Otsukimi Can” in Kanagawa, available from September 1 to late September 2026.
Pricing and portions follow typical convenience store sweets in Japan; the set is priced at ¥1,836 (tax included) featuring six pieces combining two popular sweets.
The “Otsukimi Can” includes three pieces of the classic Kamakura Choco Sand and three pieces of the Haneda Airport limited Kamakura Caramel Sand, both designed to celebrate the full moon and the traditional Japanese moon-viewing festival.
About Kamakura Goro’s Otsukimi Can
The “Otsukimi Can” is a charming gift set inspired by the mid-autumn moon festival, featuring the brand’s signature moon rabbit motif embossed in gold on the tin. The set contains two types of full moon-themed sweets: the Kamakura Choco Sand, a caramel nut-flavored wafer sandwich filled with thick crunchy chocolate, and the Kamakura Caramel Sand, a rich caramel nut confection filled with a crunchy caramel chocolate mix including rice puffs, walnuts, almonds, caramelized chips, and cornflakes. This elegant design makes the tin perfect for reuse as a small storage box or decoration after enjoying the sweets.
