Shangri-La Tokyo is unveiling its Autumn Sweets Collection in the city, available for the first time at its boutique starting September 16, 2026.
The collection highlights seasonal flavors and motifs, including a chocolate shaped like the hotel’s mascot bear and a chestnut-filled Mont Blanc cake, perfect for autumn indulgence.
These sweets are offered at The Boutique by Shangri-La on the first floor and online. The lineup includes Halloween and autumn versions of the Dubai Chocolate Bear, cookie tins, Mont Blanc cake, and a premium maple fig pound cake.
About the Autumn Sweets Collection
This year’s chocolate centerpiece is the Shangri-La Bear Dubai Chocolate, a bar embedded with walnuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, and goji berries, featuring white chocolate, rich pistachio paste, and crispy kadaif inside. Until October 31, it appears in a Halloween design with bats and ghosts; from November, it shifts to autumn motifs like ginkgo and maple leaves.
The cookie tins come in Halloween and autumn versions, decorated with playful seasonal shapes such as jack-o’-lanterns and skeletons for Halloween, and pumpkins, ginkgo, maple leaves, and acorns for autumn. Flavors include black cacao, pumpkin, plain, and tea cookies.
The Mont Blanc is a 12 cm whole cake serving 2–4 people, with a base of hazelnut joconde and crumble, layered with chestnut diplomat cream and chantilly, wrapped in special Mont Blanc cream. It features a cassis center to accentuate the chestnut sweetness, garnished with candied chestnuts, leaf-shaped cigars, roasted almond slices, baked meringue, and gold leaf.
The premium maple fig pound cake captures autumn’s colorful foliage with a batter enriched with maple sugar and orange honey, filled with semi-dried figs and confiture. It’s topped with cinnamon and hazelnut crumble and roasted walnuts, offering a harmonious blend of fig sweetness, maple aroma, and nutty flavor, ideal with tea or coffee.
