Salomon is hosting a free pop-up event called “Rebirth Teahouse” in Harajuku from August 10 to 16, 2026. The event recreates the historic Mt. Fuji climbing trail “Fujimichi,” allowing visitors to experience the spiritual journey once believed to bring rebirth.
Located at THE PLUG in Harajuku, this event offers a unique chance to explore Mt. Fuji’s cultural heritage in the city. Visitors can enjoy the recreated trail, participate in wishing on ema plaques, and receive complimentary drinks and original souvenirs while supplies last.
About the Event

Salomon, a modern mountain sports lifestyle brand originating from the French Alps, partnered with Fujiyoshida City to promote the Mt. Fuji Re-Style Project. This initiative highlights the history and culture of the Mt. Fuji area and encourages new ways to enjoy the region. The pop-up recreates the “zero station” starting point of Mt. Fuji’s Yoshida Trail, where climbers traditionally began their spiritual ascent.

The event space is divided into three areas: visitors walk the recreated Fujimichi trail crossing the mythical Sanzu River, write wishes on ema plaques which are later offered at the local shrine, and relax in a teahouse serving drinks connected to the Mt. Fuji region. Original hand towels and stickers are also given out while stocks last.
