Lincoln Hyokaten, a shaved ice specialty cafe in Machida, Tokyo, is reopening on June 22, 2026. This cafe marks a return to the roots of LETS Co., Ltd., a company that originally started with a small shaved ice shop before expanding into izakaya restaurants across Tokyo and Kanagawa.
Visitors to Japan during the summer will appreciate this limited-time opportunity to enjoy refined shaved ice crafted by a skilled Japanese chef. The cafe offers a unique blend of traditional Japanese flavors and innovative techniques, making it a perfect treat to beat the increasingly hot Japanese summers.
About Lincoln Hyokaten
LETS Co., Ltd., known for operating izakaya Lincoln and Sakaba Rokkaku, began its journey three years ago with a summer-only shaved ice shop called Nakameguro Iceman in Tokyo’s Nakameguro area. Building on that experience and customer support, the company grew into a multi-venue restaurant operator. Last summer, the shaved ice concept returned as Lincoln Hyokaten for a limited period, receiving enthusiastic feedback and calls for its return. Now, Lincoln Hyokaten opens full-time as a dedicated shaved ice cafe in Machida.

The cafe is not just an izakaya selling shaved ice during the day but a serious challenge to evolve this classic Japanese summer dessert. By combining the craftsmanship of a Japanese chef with fresh fruit and carefully designed flavor and texture contrasts, Lincoln Hyokaten aims to offer an elevated shaved ice experience.
