Tendon Hamada has launched a new Oyster and Mushroom Tendon in Japan, available from October 28, 2026. The seasonal bowl combines two large oysters from the Setouchi area with mushrooms, shrimp, and autumn vegetables.
The menu will be served at three Tendon Hamada restaurants in Tokyo and Saitama from October 28. Guests can enjoy it as a tendon bowl, a set meal, or soba, with takeout also available from the participating stores.
The Oyster and Mushroom Tendon costs ¥1,680 (¥1,848 tax included). The Oyster and Mushroom Tempura Set Meal is ¥1,950 (¥2,145 tax included), while the Oyster and Mushroom Tempura Soba, served hot or cold, costs ¥1,850 (¥2,035 tax included).
About Tendon Hamada’s seasonal menu
The tempura selection brings together Setouchi oysters, shiitake mushrooms, black maitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, chrysanthemum greens, shrimp, eggplant, and pumpkin. Each ingredient is fried to preserve its individual texture and flavor, then served with Tendon Hamada’s dashi-based secret sauce or alongside soba broth. The restaurants prepare tempura in open kitchens, allowing diners to enjoy it freshly fried.

Dining at Tendon Hamada
Tendon Hamada focuses on freshly fried tempura served with a carefully prepared dashi-based sauce. The stores offer spacious counter seating as well as tables for families and groups.
Opening hours vary by location. The Nerima Sekimachi restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with last orders at 10:00 p.m. The Saitama Nishi-Omiya and Misato-Chuo restaurants operate from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., with last orders at 9:30 p.m.
