Rakutenti has announced that its Motunabe Champon has surpassed 100,000 bowls sold across Fukuoka. The hearty noodle dish was created as a fast-food take on authentic motsunabe, Fukuoka’s famous offal hot pot.
Developed for quick service at Fukuoka Airport International Terminal, the dish is now available at 10 Rakutenti locations in the Hakata and Tenjin areas, as well as the airport food hall for eligible international passengers.
Motunabe Champon costs ¥980, or ¥1,078 tax included. The bowl combines champon noodles, motsu, vegetables, mochi, and Hakata Motsu Takoyaki in a rich hot-pot broth, and can be served in about seven minutes.
About Rakutenti Motunabe Champon

Motunabe Champon brings the traditional final course of motsunabe into the main dish itself. The champon noodles absorb the broth made rich with the flavor of motsu and vegetables, while the bowl also includes a special Hakata-style takoyaki filled with the same savory stock.

The dish is served bubbling hot in a custom bowl containing iron, designed to help it remain hot until the last bite. Rakutenti developed it for solo diners and busy lunchtime meals, offering a noodle-bowl experience that can be enjoyed in as little as 14 minutes from service to finishing.
