50% Off Mala Tang at Dragon Hot Pot in Kanda, Tokyo

Dragon Hot Pot is introducing its customizable Mala Tang experience to Tokyo with a four-day opening campaign at its Kanda restaurant. The Melbourne-born specialty brand will offer 50% off the total bill from the evening of September 11 through September 14, 2026.

The campaign starts at 5:00 p.m. on September 11 and applies at Dragon Hot Pot Kanda only. The restaurant serves Mala Tang from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with last orders at 10:00 p.m.; other discounts cannot be combined during the half-price campaign.

Guests can choose from more than 100 vegetables, meats, seafood items, fish cakes, and noodles, with ingredients sold by weight at ¥5 per gram (tax included). On the 5th, 15th, and 25th of each month, the Dragon Day rate is ¥4 per gram (tax included), while weekday lunch customers can receive one serving of rice at no charge.

Dragon Hot Pot Kanda displays more than 100 ingredients, including vegetables, meat, seafood, fish cakes, and noodles. Ingredients are selected and priced by weight at ¥5 per gram (tax included).

Build your bowl by weight

The Dragon Hot Pot system lets diners choose their preferred ingredients from the display and place them in a dedicated pot. The standard rate is ¥5 per gram (tax included), falling to ¥4 per gram (tax included) on Dragon Days.

A spacious dining room

Dragon Hot Pot Kanda has a roomy interior designed for both solo diners and groups. The open layout gives guests space to enjoy their customized Mala Tang.

Special Mala Tang broth

The signature Mala Tang combines a slowly simmered soup with dozens of specially blended spices, creating a rich, spicy and numbing bowl tailored to each guest’s ingredient choices.

The restaurant is located on the second floor of Eminence Abyss in Uchikanda. It is open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with last orders at 10:00 p.m.

The restaurant lets diners build their own bowl by selecting ingredients from a display case and placing them in a dedicated pot. The broth combines dozens of spices with a slowly simmered soup base for a rich, spicy and numbing flavor, while the spacious dining room accommodates solo meals as well as visits with friends or colleagues.
