The Tokyo Yomiuri Manju comes in two flavors: the “Orange” curry manju with cheese and the “Black” chocolate manju, both wrapped in Tokyo Butaman’s signature soft, chewy dough.
About the Tokyo Yomiuri Manju Collaboration
The collaboration celebrates the Yomiuri Giants’ team colors by offering two original manju varieties. The “Orange” manju features a rich curry filling made with pork and beef mince, sautéed onions, butter, and cream, combined with mozzarella cheese for a smooth, flavorful bite. The “Black” manju is a dessert-style steamed bun filled with custard cream blended with over 70% cacao chocolate, delivering a bittersweet and creamy experience. Both manju are carefully handmade and steamed to fluffy perfection.
Alongside the manju, limited-edition collaboration goods featuring a specially illustrated “Butaman Jabbit” mascot are available at Tokyo Butaman stores, allowing fans to enjoy the collaboration beyond just the food.
