Calbee has partnered with Maruchan to release a special collaboration potato chip lineup in Japan.

For snack lovers exploring convenience stores nationwide, Calbee’s new offerings provide a nostalgic taste experience linked to two iconic brands celebrating their 50th anniversaries.

The limited-edition “Potato Chips Maruchan Yakisoba Flavor” and “Potato Chips Wonton Soy Sauce Flavor” will hit convenience store shelves starting August 24, 2026, priced around ¥190 (tax included) for a 63g bag.

About the Collaboration

This collaboration marks the first joint project between Calbee and Maruchan, both commemorating 50 years since their original product launches. The “Maruchan Yakisoba” flavor captures the complex spices and sweet sauce of fried yakisoba noodles, delivering a savory and addictive snack. Meanwhile, the “Wonton Soy Sauce Flavor” combines rich soy sauce with the savory taste of wonton meat, fragrant sesame oil, and a peppery finish for a compelling flavor profile.
