DEAN & DELUCA has launched a special summer menu called “Taste of Mexico” by renowned chef Jesús Durón, available nationwide for three days starting August 7, 2026. This exclusive deli menu features Durón’s unique takes on traditional Mexican home-style dishes like tacos and barbacoa.
The menu highlights authentic flavors adapted with Japanese ingredients, offering dishes such as braised beef cheek barbacoa wrapped in banana leaves and sea bream baked with Veracruz sauce. Available at DEAN & DELUCA market stores in major cities including Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Fukuoka, this seasonal menu runs only from August 7 to 9.
About the “Taste of Mexico” Menu
Jesús Durón, former head chef of the two-Michelin-starred Pujol in Mexico City and recognized among the world’s best restaurants, collaborated with DEAN & DELUCA’s chefs to create this special deli collection. The menu reinterprets Mexican regional dishes with respect for their origins, using local Japanese ingredients to bring the rich culinary culture of Mexico into everyday dining.
