Morimoto is introducing its seasonal Haskap Jewelry sweets to Japan for the first time at Shibuya Scramble Square. This special pop-up store will run from July 23 to July 29, 2026, offering a unique taste of Hokkaido’s famed haskap berries.
Since these limited-edition treats are highly sought after and available only for a short period, visitors are advised to plan their visit carefully, especially on weekends when demand is highest.
About Morimoto and Haskap Jewelry
Founded in Hokkaido over 75 years ago, Morimoto has long been dedicated to creating sweets and breads that showcase the region’s rich natural ingredients. Their signature product, Haskap Jewelry, is a butter sandwich featuring jam and butter cream made from the local haskap fruit, a small purple berry known for its vivid tartness and deep flavor. This fruit is harvested only during a brief summer period, making these sweets a special seasonal delight.
In 2018, Morimoto launched the “Haskap Jewelry Nouveau,” a limited summer edition that celebrates the fresh harvest with variations depending on the growing region. This year, the pop-up in Shibuya offers two new novelties: the Haskap Marble Nouveau and a six-piece Haskap Jewelry Nouveau set featuring berries from different Hokkaido areas.
