JR Tokai Food Service will mark Piyorin’s 15th anniversary with a ¥19,800 special Shinkansen tour from Tokyo to Nagoya. The one-day experience will turn one Tokaido Shinkansen car into a Piyorin-themed space on November 14, 2026.
Only 65 passengers can join the private-car event, which runs on Nozomi 399 from Tokyo Station at 12:51 p.m. to Nagoya Station at 2:31 p.m. Bookings open through the EX Travel site on September 17 at 10:00 a.m., and an EX service registration is required.
The tour fare is ¥19,800 (tax included). It includes a Piyorin bento, the tour-only Conductor Piyorin sweet, anniversary merchandise, and onboard entertainment. The train departs from Tokyo and finishes at Nagoya, where Piyorin is sold at shops inside the station.

What Is Piyorin?
Piyorin is a soft chick-shaped fresh sweet made with pudding using eggs from Nagoya Cochin chickens, wrapped in fragrant vanilla bavarois and coated with powdered sponge. It is sold at shops inside Nagoya Station and at a production-facility shop in Kasugai, Aichi.
The 16th car of Nozomi 399 will feature Piyorin carpets, headrest covers, tapestries, garlands, and a large plush character photo spot. After lunch, a Piyorin pastry chef will discuss product development, answer passenger questions, and lead a Piyorin quiz and commemorative photo session.
